Crisis in Venezuela

There have been clashes between protesters and police lately in Venezuela.The protests have been going on since February 12, which had global attention when three people were killed. The protesters want an end to goods shortages, better security, and they want to be protected for freedom of speech.Many protesters are are students. Many opposition politicians are protesting as well. Top Venezuelan officials are blaming the United States for trying to undermine the government. Venezuela made three United States diplomats leave the country because they were condemned for planning to bring down the government. I don't know why the Venezuelan government is blaming the United States when they should be addressing the problems of their own people.
